Rating: (*** 3 stars)
A better than
average debut from a new band built around the core of singer Madeline
Follin and guitarist Brian Obvilion (I wonder if that is his real
name?). For a band who only got together last year they have made
remarkable progress to have been signed and release an album in such a
short space of time.
"Go Outside" is such a perfect piece of pop music, its infectious melody
and hooks screams radio airplay. While this doesn't just stand out it
jumps out there are some more great tracks to boot. It is a real summer
feel good vibe and is one of those rare records that you want to play
again as soon as it is finished. It may be a disc you will be sick of in
three months time, but what a ride to get there.
Final Word: Here for a good time , not necessarily a long time.
