Want to hear
something new but also something familiar? Well Cat's Eyes may well be
the listening experience you are looking for, (if you can look for a
listening experience). The debut release from this twosome comprising
Faris Badwan (of U.K. group) The Horrors and Rachel Zeffira from Canada
bring an interesting new millennium take on Nancy Sinatra and Lee
Hazelwood dueting from the 60's.
This is a very stylised record, with the best tracks being "Face In The
Crowd" and "The Best Person I Know". While this record will not be for
everyone , those who do like it will like it alot.
Final Word: This group played a track from this album at a mass
in The Vatican - can your favorite band say that?
